I felt the same, even though I've watched a lot of donghua's, this is the only one that has managed to do that to me so far. I've only had that feeling once though and For me it happened during the season 4 specials when Yao Lao finally came out to save Xiao Yan from being killed by Yunshan.

this and Kings Avatar for me Jurney to Immortal i droped that one after a while the fights where so dragging as it further progressed and they are fighting with flying bs weapons that seem to do 0 dmg until a few ep later someone finally do some dmg with some att it just got boring after a while and the story itself is not as good as BTTH tbf

On one hand I can agree with what you wrote because I've enjoyed this donghua since season 1 regardless of the difference in graphic's and the music has been pretty good. On the other hand, I think it's one of the best because there are many stories that are good yet people turn their nose up at them because they've become snobbish due to being spoiled by the advances in technology that has allowed for the improved graphical representations and or because they dont like donghua's that are short in viewing time.
